CCR Ideas and Inspiration

As we began planning our Creative Critical Reflection (CCR), we explored different ideas and formats instead of immediately choosing one. The goal was to find a way to present our answers that would be both engaging and effective.

One of the main ideas we considered was a podcast-style discussion.

This format works well because:

  • It feels like a natural conversation
  • It allows us to explain ideas clearly
  • It shows reflection in a realistic way

Podcasts are also a common form of media today, which makes the presentation feel modern and relevant.

Another idea we considered was a video essay.

This would include:

  • Clips from our film
  • Voice-over explanations
  • Visual analysis of scenes

This format is effective because it allows us to directly show examples while explaining them. It would be especially useful for discussing things like camerawork, lighting, and editing.

We also thought about doing a formal interview-style CCR.

In this format:

  • One person asks questions
  • The other responds with detailed answers

This works well because it keeps the structure clear and focused on the required CCR questions. It also helps guide the conversation so nothing is missed.

Another option was a slideshow presentation.

This would include:

  • Organized slides
  • Bullet points
  • Visual examples

This format is clear and structured, making it easy to follow. However, it can feel less engaging compared to more interactive formats like a podcast or video.

By considering multiple formats, we were able to compare:

  • How engaging each option would be
  • How clearly we could explain our ideas
  • How well each format fits modern media

This helped us understand that the format we choose should not only meet the requirements, but also enhance how our ideas are communicated.
